Teresa Thomas: The Art of Connection
I’ve been working with Teresa Thomas for nearly ten years, and I’ve continually been inspired by her passion for connecting people (she’s a professional networker) and lifting people up. I’ve been a member of her MN Women in Networking group for many years, and I can honestly say that her positive attitude, kind approach, and genuine interest in other people has made a major difference in my life and my business. I have no doubt that some of you reading these words are people I’ve met through WIN— feel free to leave a comment if that’s you!
I have photographed Teresa countless times over the years, including at events that she’s hosted, speaking engagements at which she’s been featured, and a few headshot sessions along the way. Recently I had the idea to do a “lifestyle shoot”, something a little different to capture her bright energy and seemingly endless positivity. We scheduled a little session at a place we both love and where we have spent much time together in the past (usually when I’m documenting workshops she has led or organized), the Schmidt Artist Lofts in Saint Paul.
Below I’ve included a few pictures from our session. I just can’t wait to see where they end up— knowing Teresa and the incredible trajectory her career is currently experiencing, they could appear in some incredibly interesting places.
Check out Teresa’s newest (and most exciting) project, 50 Fun Things which is all about helping “Reconnect and Discover What Brings You Joy”. She’s getting ready to lead one of her retreats in Tuscany later this spring. Amazing!
Teresa, I hope we can do a follow-up session one day in Italy! Thank you for the years of connection, growth, and fun!
